Dr. Magdalina Popivanova-Vlahova graduated from the “Medical University – Plovdiv” in 2015 and obtained her specialty in obstetrics and gynecology in 2020. In addition to her work at the Center for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, she is part of the team at the Obstetrics Department of UMBAL “St. George” and serves as an assistant at the Department of “Obstetrics and Gynecology” at the Medical University – Plovdiv, where she is actively involved in teaching.
Dr. Popivanova-Vlahova is a physician with deep social commitment. For six years, she worked at the “Community Center for Children and Families – Plovdiv,” where she consulted children and families at risk. She provides free examinations for women without health insurance, monitors pregnancies of mothers in difficult situations, and participates in initiatives aimed at improving public health.
As a mother of a boy, Dr. Popivanova-Vlahova understands the challenges of pregnancy, which further motivates her to focus on monitoring high-risk pregnancies. She also has a special interest in pediatric and adolescent gynecology, performing preventive examinations and screenings for cervical cancer, as well as other gynecological services.
