I Academy of Prenatal Medicine – “From Theory to Practice” 2024

The Maternal‑Fetal Medicine Center proudly presented the 1st Academy of Prenatal Medicine – “From Theory to Practice”, held from 23 to 25 February 2024 at the modern Medical Simulation Training Center of the Medical University of Plovdiv

Led by Dr. Boris Stoilov, MD, and supported by the Medical University – Plovdiv, the event became a pivotal platform for sharing knowledge, practical experience, and innovations in prenatal diagnosis and therapy.

Over 180 participants—including physicians, trainees, and students—actively engaged in lectures, and 20 specialists completed hands-on practical training. This strong participation highlights the Academy’s importance to Bulgaria’s medical community

The Academy sets new benchmarks in early diagnosis and managing pregnancy complications. It plays a key role in:

Improving the quality of prenatal care in Bulgaria by adopting established international standards.
