She acquires Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Health Psychology in London, and Clinical Nutrition Therapy as a second major, believing that you can’t change a person’s mindset unless you bring a positive change in their lifestyle. After her extensive theoretical training, she has the chance to be an intern in one of the biggest hospitals in the United Kingdom – Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital, the Maudsley Hospital and King’s College Hospital. Currently she teaches psychology at King’s College and London South Bank University.
Shortly after graduating, while working on a study about reducing depressive symptoms after childbirth through nutrition and exercise, she herself becomes pregnant. Neli finds this a great time to gain more knowledge on the proper diet during and after pregnancy, by taking a training at the prestigious Monash University. Subsequently, nutrition during these two very special moments for a woman becomes her passion and profession.
She believes that a balanced intake of the right nutrients, and if necessary the inclusion of nutritional supplements, is the most suitable formula for good health. Her extensive clinical experience allows her to work with conditions such as gestational diabetes, prevention of pre-eclampsia and hypothyroidism.
